ASRI Poetry Writing Competition

Hello ASRI Friends!

Express your heart in the form of poetry to celebrate World Forest Day (21 March), Earth Day (22 April) and ASRI's 14th Birthday (12 July). Check the competition terms and conditions below.

Writing Requirements:

1. Poem Theme: "Guard the Forest that Protects Me"
2. Maximum poem 200 words, Times New Roman font 12, A4 paper size, 1 space.
3. You must write the title and author's name at the top of the poem, then include a short bio of up to 50 words at the end of the poem. This biodata does not count as part of the word count of the poem.
4. Participants can submit more than one poem, and will only have the opportunity to win 1 prize.
5. The file name is written in the format: ASRI Poetry_Poem Title_Author's Name.
6. Poetry has never been entered into a writing competition or published on online media, blogs/websites, or social media.

Manuscript Delivery Method:

1. Poetry manuscripts must comply with the writing requirements as written above.
2. The poetry manuscript file format is Microsoft Word Document (DOC).
3. Poems must be submitted via the Registration Form http://bit.ly/lombapuisiasrii
4. The manuscript file is written in the format: ASRI Poetry Writing Competition_Poem Title_Author's Name.
5. The latest to submit a poetry manuscript: May 2 2021, at: 23.59 WIB.

General Competition Conditions:

1. Participants are Indonesian citizens (WNI).
2. Poetry is your own work and not taken from blog posts or other sites.
3. The work has never been entered into a similar competition held by another party.
4. The work must not violate any party's intellectual property rights.
5. The work is written in Indonesian.
6. Works must not contain political, racial or religious content or pornography.
7. Participants must register by filling in the registration form.
8. Participants must follow Alam Sehat Lestari's social media accounts, Instagram @alamsehatlestari, and Alam Sehat Lestari's Facebook.
9. Alam Sehat Lestari has the right to disqualify registrations that are incomplete, incorrect, unclear and exceed the article submission time limit.
10. Alam Sehat Lestari has the right to disqualify participants or winners if they find cheating.
11. Alam Sehat Lestari reserves the right to use the names, data and materials of participants/winners for environmental campaign purposes without further compensation or notification
12. The participants' work becomes the property of Alam Sehat Lestari and they have the right to use it at any opportunity
13. Alam Sehat Lestari's decision cannot be contested for any reason.
14. Competition period: 22 March – 2 May 2021Winners will be announced via Alam Sehat Lestari social media.

Winner Criteria:

Winners will be determined based on

1. The poem complies with all of the above provisions
2. The writing is in accordance with the theme: "Take Care of the Forest that Protects Me"Originality, creativity in processing ideas, depth of message/morality, beauty of language, and writing rules.
3. The decision of the jury and/or the Alam Sehat Lestari team is absolute and cannot be contested.1st place winner will get a cash prize worth Rp. 1,000,000,- + certificate. 2nd place winner will get a cash prize worth Rp. 500,000,- + certificate. 3rd place winner will get credit of Rp. 500,000,- for 5 winners + certificate.
4. Prize taxes are borne by the winner.

Alam Sehat Lestari is released from claims in any form related to the jury's assessment and the content submitted by the competition participants.
